Gaochun District Guobang Sewage Treatment Plant is located in the northwest of Gaochun City and on the east bank of Guanxi River. It covers an area of 54 acres, has a designed treatment capacity of 40,000 tons per day, and will be constructed in two phases. The daily processing capacity of the first phase is 20,000 tons. It adopts the A2/O oxidation ditch process that takes into account both nitrogen and phosphorus removal. It was officially put into operation in 2005. The second phase of the project adopts the A2/O process that takes into account nitrogen and phosphorus removal + advanced treatment (coagulation sedimentation, disinfection), and was officially put into operation in October 2009. The effluent water quality reaches the Class A standard specified in the "Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants" (GB18918-2002), and the effluent is discharged into Guanxi River.
