Introduction 

The NJL-Type Vertical Fine Screen is a highlyreliable,stablyoperating,andhigh-performance sewage treatment andfiltration equipment. It is widely used inmunicipal sewage treatment, water supplytreatment,variousindustrialsewagetreatments, as well as other solid-liquidseparation fields.

During operation,the equipment cancontinuously and automatically remove solidsuspended solids from wastewater. It notonly cleans floating screen residues such aswood chips, branches, and plastic productsin water but also effectively removessuspended solids like hair, fibers, andflocculent soft substances from wastewater.Thus, it is an ideal and efficient pretreatmentequipment for water supply and drainagesystems, and has been widely applied infields including sewage treatment, reclaimedwater treatment, industrial wastewatertreatment, water intake of water supplyplants, and industrial water intake of powerplants.

Working Principle

The vertical bar screen is installed at the water intake of various water plants to intercept floating objects,aquatic organisms, and other substances that fail to be intercepted by the coarse screen. Through thetraction chain, the rollers and screen frames fixed on the chain links roll along the track. Floating objectsin the sewage passing through the screen are retained on the inclined screen surface; as the screenrotates, the retained substances are moved to the operating platform. Then, the flushing device sprayshigh-pressure water through a set of nozzles, flushing the retained substances on the screen into thegarbage hopper, which are finally discharged through the garbage chute.


Main structure

The vertical bar screen is mainly composed of a main machine frame, filter plates, an internal screenresidue collection tank, a drive device and protective cover, a screen machine cover, a screen residueflushing device, a medium/high pressure flushing water pump, a flushing device pipeline fiter, abackwash pipeline from the pump to the screen, connecting accessories and valves, a pressure gauge,double-sided guide plates, an overload protection device, and an on-site control cabinet.

Control System

The screen is equipped with an electrical control box,which is of outdoo rtype with an enclosure protection rating of IP55.AlI mainelectrical components are of well-known brands.The vertical fine screen cleaner and its supporting screening machine are controlled in linkage: when starting up, the fine screen and the screening machine start simultaneously; after shutd own, the screening machine stops with a 5-minute delay. The control box is placed near screen. 

And the cables connecting to the equipment are provided by our company as part of the package. All equipment linkage controls are implemented through the control box. The control system features on-site manual/on-siteautomatic/remote central contro operation modes, which can be switched via the "Manual/Auto/Remote"selector switch on the panel

On-site Manual: Operators can start/stop the equipment via the corresponding buttons on the on-sitecontrol cabinet.

On-site Automatic: When the equipment is in on-site automatic mode, the screen operatesperiodically according to the set continuous running time and the interval between running andstopping

Remote Central Control: When the equipment control system is in remote mode, the start/stop of theequipment is controlled remotely by the operator of the central control system through signals sentfrom the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) of the No.1 Sewage Plant's automatic control system.
