FRP Pontoon Mixer System

The FRP pontoon mixer is a cost-effective and lightweight solution, mainly designed for small and medium submersible mixers, typically below 4 kW.

Thanks to the FRP material, this pontoon system offers:

  • Excellent corrosion resistance for wastewater applications

  • Lightweight structure for easy transportation and installation

  • Lower manufacturing cost, making it a more economical choice

  • Ideal for smaller mixers and lighter-duty mixing applications

The FRP pontoon is especially suitable for projects where budget control is important and the mixer power is relatively small, while still maintaining stable floating performance and reliable operation.

Stainless Steel Pontoon Mixer System

The stainless steel pontoon mixer is designed for larger and heavier mixers, and is commonly used with 620 mm propeller mixers and higher-power models.

Compared with FRP, the stainless steel pontoon offers:

  • Higher mechanical strength and structural rigidity

  • Better suitability for larger mixer sizes and higher thrust forces

  • Excellent durability in demanding wastewater environments

  • Long service life for heavy-duty and continuous operation

This solution is recommended for projects that require higher power, larger impeller sizes, or more demanding operating conditions.

How to Choose

In general:

  • FRP pontoons are recommended for mixers below 4 kW, offering a more economical solution for smaller systems.

  • Stainless steel pontoons are recommended for 620 mm mixers and larger models, where higher strength and load capacity are required.
