Introduction

Working Principle

The unit removes debris efficiently through a three-step automatic process: continuous screeningautomatic discharge, and screen regeneration. No manual operation is required.

Debris Screening

A motor and gearbox drive the transmission system (sprockets and chains), rotating the stepped screenpanels against the water flow. The panels move upward across the full channel width, capturing floatingdebris, fibers, and solid waste.

Automatic Discharge

When the panels reach the discharge area at the top, most solids fall into the collection trough by gravity.Remaining debris is removed by cleaning brushes, ensuring clean downstream water.

Debris Screening

They are first brushed and then washed by the spraysystem, completely cleaning the openings and maintaining stable filtration performance for continuousoperation. unit is composed of guide rails, a basket screen, lifting motor (for automatic models),lower limit rod, and temporary screen.

Structure

Drive Unit

Mounted at the top of the frame. Equipped with a shaft-mountedgearbox and screw-type chain tensioners on both sides.Motor: 380V /3-phase / 50Hz, IP55, Class F insulation, rated power10% above maximum operating load, with overload protection.Italso can be customized with other voltage and frequency.The drive shaft is designed to withstand combined bending andtorsional loads.

Frame

Rigid structure fabricated from stainless steel plates and sections.Cross braces are installed between side plates for added strength.No deformation occurs under a 1.0 m water level difference. Sidegaps between the frame and channel are sealed with rubber.

Traction Chains & Sprockets

Stainless steel traction chains with breaking strength at least 5times the maximum pulling force.Sprockets and guide devices are installed at both upper and lower ends of the frame. The underwater guide system uses a non-sprocket design with anti-entanglement features.

Screen Panels

All-stainless-steel stepped screen panels with regularly arranged openings. Multiple panels form acontinuous stepped screen belt.

Screening accuracy up to 3 mm, with sufficient flow area to keep flow velocity below 1 m/s through theopenings.

Cleaning Brushes

Installed at the start of the return path. Driven by an independent geared motor. Nylon bristles ensureeffective cleaning

Washing System

Perforated spray washing system installed along the return path of the screen panels, ensuring completeregeneration

Electrical Control Cabinet

Supports differential water level control, timer control, or combined control. Manual operation is alsoavailable for maintenance.he unit consists of seven main components: the drive unit, frame, tractionchains and sprockets, screen panels, cleaning brushes, washing system, and electrical control cabinet.

Basic Dimensions

The control cabinet is ordered separately. Available options include differential water level control, timercontrol, or combined water level and timer control.

Material Specification

Unless otherwise specified, all components are manufactured from stainless steel. Special materialrequirements should be stated in advance.
